About the Performers:
Eric Douglas is an Arizona singer-songwriter who paints an American landscape, with songs from the Southwestern desert, the Great Plains, and the open road. He combines contemporary folk, classic rock, and Texas country to tell stories of people finding their place in the world...for better or worse. Eric's performances are engaging and intimate, as he expertly balances serious songs with a dry humor. Laura Joy is an AZ based touring artist who impresses audiences with her warmth,
ability to connect emotionally, and songs that touch the soul. She has
developed a unique playing and singing style that defies comparison. She
has written songs that have won wide acclaim including first place at
the Great River Folk Festival, best original song from NPR’s Chicagoland
affiliate and repeat accolades at the Acorn Theater Songwriting
Contest. She has opened for and shared stages with many nationally
known touring artists including Restless Heart, Greg Brown, Robbie

Chris O'Brien grew up in Amherst, MA. He is the son of two women. Music was always an important part of his life, and after trying a handful of different instruments, Chris picked up the guitar at the age of fourteen. It wasn't long before he began writing his own songs. In 2001, Chris joined the renowned Boston music scene and began playing open mics around the city. He released his first album, "Lighthouse," in 2007 and his second album, "Little Red," in 2010. "Lighthouse" became one of the best-selling singer/songwriter albums on iTunes after Chris appeared on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion." Chris O'Brien's songs have appeared on celebrity playlists, TV shows (Skins: Season 3, Episode 8 "Effy"), and National Public Radio. - In The Round. This means each act performs one song at a time, one after another
- Showtime is 8:00 - 9:30 pm (EST): Show will run approximately 1 hour, amounting to 4 or 5 "rounds"
- "Doors open" at 7:45pm (EST): That's right, we can chat before the show begins! Audience will be muted during the show for sound clarity issues, but we can all talk before and after the performance.
- This show will not be recorded. That's what makes this special, sharing the moment with you in real time.
